Much of the Thames Path traverses pastures that sheep and cows also occupy. (One learns to step carefully.) There were lambs in great profusion, as well as bovine babies now and then. Of wild creatures, we saw lots of winged ones, especially swans, some nesting and once a new family with five cygnets.
